The firm can pride itself on the nomination of Clay Long, its founding partner and former co-chairman, who features in three chapters – only one other lawyer matches this performance. Long ranked highly in the arbitration, corporate governance and M&A chapters and was praised across the board as “dean of the corporate bar” in Georgia. He is president of the Georgia Arbitrators Forum and known as a “very good and very knowledgeable” arbitrator. Insolvency and restructuring is an area where the firm performed well, with two partners on the list.
