She received her law degree at the University of São Paulo-USP School of Law in 1993. She obtained her PhD in 2008 at USP after a Lato Sensu post graduation in 2001 from FGV - Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV of São Paulo and a Master of Laws (LLM) obtained in 2000 at USP. She teaches arbitration and international contracts at GVLaw/SP and other institutions. She frequently publishes articles about arbitration and is the author of the book A Importância da Sede da Arbitragem: Visão a partir do Brasil, (The Importance of the Place of Arbitration: A Brazilian Perspective).
She is the president of CBAR - the Brazilian arbitration committee (www.cbar.org.br), a well recognised academic institution that hosted the ICCA 2010. She is also a member of the international arbitration committee of the ILA. Member of the ICC arbitration committee and ICC Latin-American arbitration committee. Member of the ICDR Board of Advisers for Latin America.Coordinator of the young arbitrators committee of the CCBC Brazil-Canadian Chamber of Commerce Center, among others.
Adriana Braghetta is fluent in Portuguese, English and French and has good knowledge of Spanish.
