More recently, L O Baptista, Schmidt, Valois, Miranda, Ferreira, Agel, together with two international law firms, won the bid to represent the Brazilian government at the WTO disputes.
Besides advising the public and private sectors, Cynthia Kramer has been a researcher for IDCID a Brazilian institute specialised in international trade, and has published some articles and books. She coordinates the ABCI Institute in São Paulo an American institute in international trade and the WTO committee of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/SP).
From an academic perspective, Cynthia Kramer graduated in Law from the University of Sao Paulo, where she is currently finishing her doctorate on trade remedies. She studied Economy applied to Law at FGV/SP and Customs Regulations at Aduaneiras. For the past four years she has been teaching international trade law at specialised and MBA programmes in Sao Paulo.
