Dr. Landry completed his legal education at the universities of Kiel, Munich, Heidelberg and London, graduating as a doctor of laws. He has practiced law for more than 40 years and is a frequently recommended attorney for customs law in the JUVE Handbook of German corporate and commercial law firms. The German commercial journal 'Wirtschaftswoche' recommends Dr Landry as one of the best 25 German lawyers in the field of law regarding fiscal offences. Dr Landry is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Max Planck Institute for foreign and international private law as well as the Joachim Herz Foundation and, from 1990 to 1999, was president of the Hanseatic Bar Association. He is the author of various recognised publications on food law, customs law, and common market law.
Dr Landry speaks German and English. He has been with the firm since 1968.
