Irina moves easily between traditional litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, matching her renowned courtroom capabilities with exceptional arbitration skills. She is regularly appointed as an arbitrator in ICC, LCIA and the Vienna International Arbitral Centre. She also appears as arbitrator and counsel in both international and domestic arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL rules.
Earlier this year, Mrs Nazarova was chosen as Ukraine's representative to the ICC Commission on Arbitration (Paris), where she participates in the development and improvement of arbitration rules and guidelines in order to streamline arbitration practices as a means of dispute resolution.
Irina regularly speaks at numerous litigation and arbitration seminars, conferences and forums both in Ukraine and abroad. Her vast experience and strong reputation in dispute resolution and international arbitration have been recognised by a number of the legal directories, including Best Lawyers, PLC Which Lawyer?, The Legal 500, Chambers Europe. Recently, EnGarde's dispute resolution department, headed by Mrs Nazarova, received the Corporate INTL Magazine 2011 Global Award for Dispute Resolution Law Firm of the Year in Ukraine.
Mrs Nazarova obtained her international private law degree at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, School of International Law and was admitted to the Ukrainian Bar in 2002.
