Doug Fyfe is a partner in Gowlings' Ottawa office practising in all areas of intellectual property law, with an emphasis on trademark law. His practice includes trademark prosecution, enforcement and related advocacy. He is the leader of Gowlings' trademark national practice group.Doug has been listed as a leading lawyer in several legal industry publications, including PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook, Who's Who Legal: Canada, and Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.
Doug is a contributing editor for the International Trademark Association's book Trademark Cancellation: International Practice and Procedures. He is also the past associate editor of the Canadian Patent Reporter.
He is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Intellectual Property Owner's Association (serves on the subcommittee for international trademark prosecution), and the International Trademark Association.
