Biography: Capital Markets
Mr Kronfeld is a partner in Davis Polk's corporate department, representing US and non-US clients on equity and debt capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities regulatory matters. His non-US practice is focused on Spain and Latin America. His principal public company clients have included Banco Santander, CTC Chile, Enersis, FedEx, Freddie Mac, Greenhill & Co, Grupo Aval, Repsol YPF, Triple-S Management Corporation and WP Carey & Co.Mr Kronfeld is listed as a leading lawyer in several legal industry publications, including: Chambers Global: The World's Leading Lawyers for Business; Chambers Latin America: Latin America's Leading Lawyers for Business; and Legalease's The Legal 500 US – Capital Markets.
Mr Kronfeld received his BA (with honours) from Wesleyan University in 1984 and his JD (magna cum laude) from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990. He became a partner in 1999 and is admitted to the State of New York and District of Columbia.
