Mr Zingales has extensive experience in antitrust investigations, merger control cases, development of compliance programmes for local and foreign clients, as well as antitrust indemnity agreements and litigation. He also has extensive knowledge of telecommunications law.
Mr Zingales received his law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP) in 1998 and his postgraduate degree in business and economics at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, São Paulo (FGV/SP), and also in antitrust law at George Washington University in 2001. He is currently studying for a Master's Degree in economics and finance at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (SP).
He was invited to teach classes in antitrust law at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, Fundação Getúlio Vargas (São Paulo branch), IBMEC/SP, PUC/SP and FAAP, as well as the coordinate and teach the antitrust and regulation course at the Escola Superior da Advocacia (ESA/SP).
Mr Zingales is a founder member of CECORE the committee on competition and regulatory studies at the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo branch (OAB/SP) and GEDECON Group of Studies in Law & Economics. He has written several articles on competition and regulatory matters published in various Brazilian and international publications.
Mr Zingales was an associate of Trench, Rossi & Watanabe Advogados, associated with Baker & McKenzie (1998 to 2001), as well as a senior associate of Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados (2001 to 2009).
