Mr Brady focuses on corporate restructurings, primarily representing companies in out-of-court workouts, pre-packaged or pre-planned bankruptcies and chapter 11 cases. He also has significant experience representing creditors' committees, ad hoc lender groups, debtor in possession lenders and acquirers.
Mr Brady is listed in The Best Lawyers In America and has been ranked as a leading bankruptcy/restructuring lawyer in Chambers USA - America's Leading Lawyers for Business since its inception. In the 2011 edition of Chambers USA, sources welcomed his 'hands-on approach' and noted that Mr Brady 'keeps the client informed on all fronts about what the options are, from both a strategic and legal standpoint'.
Mr Brady served as lead debtor counsel to Alterra Healthcare Corporation, Touch America, Smart Paper, Holliston Mills, Distributed Energy Services, Randa Luggage, Heartland Publications, GEMS TV, and Allen Family Foods among others. He has also been involved in many of Delaware's complex chapter 11 cases including the Tribune, Smurfit-Stone Container and Perkins and Marie Callender.
Mr Brady is admitted in Delaware, the District of Columbia and New York. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), the Delaware Bar Association and the Delaware Inns of Court. Mr Brady has spoken at numerous conferences, including those sponsored by ABI, National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, AIRA and the National Business Institute.
