Aadil's employment law experience includes the of drafting papers for urgent applications, unfair dismissals and labour practices, retrenchments, transfers, prosecuting and opposing review applications, rescission applications, and interlocutory applications. He also has extensive experience in collective bargaining, the interpretation of the constitution, all legislative aspects of strikes, and giving advice on essential services, minimum services agreements and compulsory arbitrations.
Aadil is a specialist in drafting opinions in relation to various issues relating to pension funds. He is also oversees the referral of disputes to the pension fund adjudicator and conducts arbitration relating to whether there is a duty to bargain regarding the formation of a pension fund. He is a specialist in advising clients concerning non-compliance with the Pension Fund Rules and the Act.
Aadil offers his expertise on drafting and commenting on legislation for government departments and state-owned entities, as well as on preparing tenders. He has wide-ranging experience regarding various pieces of legislation that impact on the public sector as well as all aspects of administrative law. He also advises on the impact of administration law on the energy and water sector and appears on behalf of clients at various regulatory bodies.
Aadil joined Cliffe Dekker (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr) as a director in 2006.
