Biography: Management Labour and Employment

Francesco Rotondi is a founding partner of LABLAW - an award winning Italian boutique exclusively specialised in employment and labour law. LABLAW advises both national and international clients on a wide range of complex human resource management and industrial relations issues 24 hours a day - 365 days a year.

Francesco focuses his practice on Italian employment and labour law, collective dismissals, industrial relations, transfers of undertaking and employment related litigation.

He is recognised internationally as a leader in his field by leading legal directories such as Who's Who Legal, Chambers Europe, Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer?, Best Lawyers, European Legal Experts, and Expert Guides.

Francesco is very active academically as a professor and lecturer at leading Italian universities such as the University of Rome (Tor Vergata), SDA Bocconi, and the University of Milan's Labour Law Institute (Sacro Cuore). He also frequently speaks at professional and academic institutes and associations such as the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI) of Lombardia, ISTUD, ISPER, as well as the Italian Personnel Directors Group (GIDP) and the National Association of the Personnel Directors (AIDP). He is also a partner of the HRC Academy.

Francesco is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) and the scientific committee of IPSOA. He is also a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Personnel Directors (AIDP) of Lombardia, and a member of the council of Arbitrators of Assolavoro (CONFIDUSTRIA).

Francesco, who obtained his JD from the University of Milan in 1991, was admitted to the Italian Bar Association in 1994 and the Italian Supreme Court Bar Association in 2006.

He speaks English, French and Italian.
