Yves has represented major foreign investors in their establishment in Mexico, acquisition of Mexican assets, placement of debt instruments and securitisations, financings secured with Mexican assets, development of insurance products bribery and corruption investigations to Mexican entities and in implementing corporate governance measures in Mexican subsidiaries of foreign companies and has served and currently acts as secretary and non-executive independent member of the board of directors and board of committees of Mexican financial companies.
Yves represents on an ongoing basis BNP Paribas, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporations, EFG Investment Bank, Espirito Santo Bank, Sun Trust Bank, in corporate regulatory mergers and acquisitions, general lending, recoveries and development of financial products.

He has represented and advised American Life Insurance Company (a member of AIG), Assurant Solutions, CIGNA international, Cardif, Dentegra, Landamerica, MetLife, Panamerican Life, Principal, Seguros Priza, Prudential, Skandia (Old Mutual), The Hartford and The Travelers Companies in the establishment of their Mexican affiliate insurance companies and on an ongoing basis provides general legal advice on corporate, regulatory, mergers and acquisitions and product development matters.
He currently represents the following Mexican affiliate insurance companies on an ongoing basis in transactional work, merger and acquisitions, product development and general regulatory, corporate, corporate governance and compliance related matters: AXA Seguros Mexico, Assurant Daños Mexico, Assurant Vida Mexico, Cardif Mexico Seguros de Vida, Cardif Mexico Seguros Generales, Dentegra Seguros Dentales, LandAmerica Mexico (in liquidations), MetLife Mexico, Panamerican Life Mexico, Seguros Azteca, Seguros Principal, Principal Pensiones, Prudential Seguros Mexico and Zurich Mexico.
He represents Mexican and foreign investors and insurance and reinsurance companies in insurance coverage issues, claim disputes, in the negotiation and settlement of insurance and reinsurance claims and has experience in arbitrations carried out under the laws of the United Kingdom on insurance disputes.
He is the former chairman of the Mexican Chapter of AIDA (Amedesef) and currently continues serving as vice chairman of Amedesef and is responsible for the establishment and operation of ARIAS Mexico.
He is a member of the presidential council of the Association Internationale de Droit des Amendes (ALDA) and member of its finance committee, vice chairman of CILA and an honorary member of the Commercial Bar (COMBAR).
He is a co-founder of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom, and of the Latin American Forum.
He has acted as secretary of the board of directors and non-executive independent director and secretary of the anti-money laundering, investments, risk and audit committees of Mexican insurance and surety subsidiaries of international companies such as Assurant, Cardif, CIGNA, MetLife, Principal, Skandia and The Travelers Companies. Yves represented and advised (i) Saab Aircraft leasing of a fleet of 22 Saab 340 Bs in the lease to Aeromexico's regional airline Aerolitoral that replaced the Fairchild Metros operated by Aerolitoral, (ii) Bank of America Leasing in the lease of Boing 737 to Estafeta, and (iii) Aviation Capital Group in a restructure of various leases to Mexicana.
Yves was also appointed expert on Mexican Law in a large and complex arbitration dealing with Mexican legal issues on reinsurance, aviation and contracts.
