Biography: Environment

Walter José Senise received his LLB from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - PUC (1990). He studied Strategic Planning – part of the career advancement course on business communication from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing – ESPM-SP (1992); Environmental Law – part of the advancement course on environmental science from the Universidade de São Paulo - PROCAM-USP (1994); and received his Masters Degree in Environmental Law from Pontifical University of São Paulo Law School - PUC (2009).

Walter José Senise has been a teacher of Environmental Law, Curso Superior de Tecnologia em Gestão Ambiental, – Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (environmental management) - S Caetano do Sul - SP – since 2008; a teacher of Environmental Law, Curso de Pós-Graduação em Meio Ambiente, Desenvolvimento Sustentável e Questões Globais (sustainable development) - Fundação Armando Alvarez Penteado – FAAP – São Paulo – since 2008; coordinator of the committee on environmental law from IBDE – Brazilian Institute of Energy Law; coordinator of the committee on environmental law from CESA – Research Center of the Lawyers' Association; deputy coordinator of the environmental law group of the committee on sustainable development and energy of the International Chamber of Commerce– CCI; and an ombudsman (ouvidor ambiental) of the São Paulo State Environment Office (1995/1998).
