Mr Erickson was lead insurance counsel for underwriters at Lloyd's and London market companies in the successful defence of the landmark coverage cases arising from Hurricane Katrina, the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, and the removal of asbestos from Port Authority buildings in the New York metropolitan area. He is regularly consulted by insurers on emerging controversies, and has been involved in the drafting and implementation of commercial policy wording and underwriting guidelines. He served on the editorial board of the Insurance Coverage Law Bulletin and is frequently asked to speak at industry functions.
Mr Erickson has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, and served as an officer in the US Army where he was awarded the Bronze Star for service in Vietnam.
