Mr Bühler, born in 1970, graduated from the University of Basel with a law degree and a doctorate degree in 1995 and 1999 respectively. He was admitted to the Basel and Swiss Bars in 1999. In 2002, he graduated from the University of Zurich with a further degree in the postgraduate work-study LLM programme in International Business Law, and received an award for the best result in the area of specialisation of capital markets, banking and finance. From 2002 to 2003 he was employed as a visiting associate with the American law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York.
He has been a partner with Böckli Bodmer & Partners since 2004. He is an authorised representative and member of the appeals board of the SIX Swiss Exchange and board member of an internationally established Swiss industrial holding company. Since 2009 he has also been lecturing at the Universities of Zurich and Basel as an outside lecturer (Privatdozent) in the areas of Swiss and international business and commercial law.
His working languages are German and English.
