Dan has worked on projects in the United States and throughout the world for clients like Chevron, Befesa, Vinci, AECOM, Sempra Energy and Edison International. He has had key roles on some of the largest and most successful infrastructure projects in the United States, including the US$2.4 billion Alameda Corridor, a consolidated rail line linking the ports of southern California with the transcontinental rail yards.
A frequent speaker and writer on construction law, Dan's many publications include 'Disputes Review Boards: What the Case Law Says About Them,' Dispute Resolution Journal 59 (Nov. 2010/Jan. 2011). He is a member of the Disputes Review Board Foundation, the American Bar Association's forum on the construction industry, and Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (executive board). He has the highest rating from Martindale Hubbell (AV), has been named a California Super Lawyer, and is listed by Chambers USA.
Dan graduated first in his class from Loyola Law School and first in his class from Loyola Marymount University. He clerked with chief judge Charles Clark, United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit (1987 term).
