Alexander has extensive experience in representing clients before the European Commission, German and other national competition authorities in cartel, abuse and merger control proceedings as well as before national and European courts. Furthermore he advises clients on cartel damage issues and on the design and implementation of competition compliance programmes.
Alexander is a regular speaker and panel chair on national and international conferences. He is listed as a leading lawyer in competition in all of the major directories including Chambers, JUVE, Legal 500, PLC's Which lawyer? and The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers. He is a member of the Antitrust Committee of the International Bar Association and the Association of DACH antitrust lawyers (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht). Alexander has graduated at the Universities of Munich and Geneva, earned his doctorate degree from the University of Bonn and a postgraduate degree from the College of Europe in Bruges. He speaks German, English and French.
