Peter is a partner with Van Bael & Bellis (www.vbb.com) where he co-heads the life sciences department in the firm's Brussels office. Peter holds degrees in law and philosophy from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Leuven, Belgium (1985 and 1986) and a Master's degree in comparative law from the George Washington University, Washington DC (1987).
Peter's practice focuses on the life sciences industry and covers a range of areas of relevance to medical devices and pharmaceuticals, including antitrust; information and advertising; licensing; patents; pricing and reimbursement; and registration matters.
Peter advises clients on these issues and also represents them in court, in administrative proceedings and before industry boards.
Peter has been recognised as a leading practitioner by most legal directories. He is recommended by PLC for life sciences regulatory and intellectual property and is also endorsed by Who's Who Legal for life sciences. Peter regularly acts as a speaker and writer in the field.
