Since 2000, Mr Jha been authorised and engaged by a number of interested parties in a large number of Indian anti-dumping and safeguards investigations and has advised Indian exporters in anti-subsidy and anti-dumping investigations outside India. Mr Jha was engaged as an international expert assisting the EU's MUTRAP-III mission in Vietnam in respect of trade remedies in 2009.
On the trade advisory practice Mr Jha has also advised on technical barriers to trade, phytosanitary standards, geographical indications, trips, free trade agreements, and rules of origin related issues and in respect of the WTO's dispute settlement process. Mr Jha has acted in a number of customs and central excise cases at the Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court of India.
Mr Jha established his independent firm in 2008, with its office at New Delhi focusing on trade remedies and trade advisory, competition, public policy and regulatory practices and arbitration.
