Biography: Mining
Tabitha is an advocate and partner at Rex Attorneys where she has been working since 2002. Since joining the firm, she has focused on mining law and is now heading the firm's mining department. She has worked on numerous local and international mining transactions, including but not limited to due diligence investigations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, public private equity transactions and partnerships. She also practises labour law and acts as company secretary to some of the firm's exploration and telecommunications companies.Tabitha holds an LLB from Keele University, UK and an LLM from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
She recently presented a paper titled "The Mining Act, 2010: One Year On" at the first ever Tanzania Mining, Energy Conference & Exhibition held in Arusha, Tanzania in October, 2011.
