Mr Tuohey, a member of the District of Columbia Bar and New York Bar, served as president of the District of Columbia Bar, and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Currently, he is a chair of the ABA's standing committee on government affairs. From 2004-2007, as chair of the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission, Mark brought Major League Baseball back to Washington. He was named Washingtonian of the Year in 2005.
Mr Tuohey has been selected annually to Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business; Best Lawyers in America (bet-the-company litigation and white-collar criminal defence); The International Who's Who of Business Crime Defence Lawyers; Top 100 Irish American Lawyers in America; and the Top 100 Most Influential Lawyers in Washington, DC.
Mr Tuohey is a frequent lecturer in the areas of trial practice, anti-corruption issues and internal corporation investigations.
