Biography: Private funds

Anders Appell is partner and one of the founders of Andulf Advokat AB, the leading private equity firm in the Nordic area and the only Nordic firm dedicated exclusively to private equity. The firm focuses on advice to clients in establishing on and offshore funds with management in the Nordic region and elsewhere; acquiring and disposing portfolio companies; and making investments in private equity funds around the world.

Mr Appell was born in 1972. He holds a Masters degree in law from the University of Uppsala and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association.

Mr Appell was an associate at Lagerlöf & Leman from 1998 to 1999, a law clerk at Stockholm District Court from 1999 to 2000 and an associate at Mannheimer Swartling Advokatbyrå during 2000 to 2003, where he worked with the same team that works at Andulf today.

The law firm contributes to the EVCA tax and legal committee.
