Mr Chávez has been involved in rendering legal advice to multinational and Mexican companies in all types of franchising, real estate transactions, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, workouts, restructurings, contracts, agreements, project financing, investments, antitrust regulation, public bids and regulatory issues in general.
His work has included active representation of diverse clients involved in a wide variety of corporate and commercial projects, including the development and restructuring of franchise, licensing and distribution business in Mexico. Additionally, Mr Chávez has participated in transactions and investments in the areas of real estate, preparation of legal documentation to secure antitrust commission approvals of international corporation's consolidation of Mexican operations, as well as advising major real estate developers in the implementation of their projects, counselling of major energy and oil-related consortiums in public bids and structuring of foreign investment transactions and projects.
