Through his specific expertise in connection with the online gaming sector in Australia and internationally, Jamie has assisted gambling operators, website portals, media organisations and investors (among others) in understanding the manner in which a gambling business is conducted online throughout the world.
In recognition of Jamie's standing and expertise, he was identified as a leading lawyer in Chambers Global 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
He has been widely recognised for his information technology and e-commerce expertise and has written extensively in publications, such as e-commerce law reports. He is one of the authors of the Australian chapter of Getting the Deal Through e-Commerce, published by Law Business Research.
Jamie is a member of the Internet Industry Association, Australia's leading internet body and has participated in many of its taskforces dealing with internet content issues. He is a past-chair of the sports and gaming law committee of the International Bar Association and is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law.
