He also represents private sector clients on a range of issues arising under WTO, NAFTA and other international trade and investment agreements, including investor-state disputes, foreign corrupt practices, import/export controls, trade sanctions and lobbying on trade policy. Craig has significant experience in customs law, especially in the dispute of administrative monetary penalties arising from tariff classification, rules of origin and customs audits.
In his procurement practice, Craig advises clients on the law of competitive contracting and the effect of Canada's trade agreements and domestic legislation on government procurement. He has represented clients in government contracting disputes, including before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and the Federal and Ontario courts.
