Sandra was admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. This is an "invitation only" organisation comprised of elite litigation counsel in Canada and the United States who are regarded by their peers as having achieved the highest standards of professional excellence and ethical conduct. Sandra was a law clerk to the Honourable Peter Cory of the Supreme Court of Canada from 1990 to 1991, past-president of The Advocates' Society (2009-2010), a member of the editorial board of the Ontario Reports (2005 to present), past chair of the enforcement practices and procedures committee of the Canadian Bar Association national competition law section (2004-2006), a contributing author to the Supreme Court Law Review (1999-2007) and adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Law School teaching Advanced Advocacy (2008 to present). She has given numerous papers and presented extensively at North American and international conferences, including the 2005 Law Society of Upper Canada Special Lectures at which she presented a paper on "Damages in Competition Law".
