He is presently a member of OECD's business restructuring advisory group, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Taxation Commission, Paris, United Nations sub-committee of tax experts on transfer pricing and tax dispute resolution. Mukesh was recently inducted as a member of the International Fiscal Association's, (IFA) permanent scientific committee (2010 to 2016). He is an author of the acclaimed treatise Transfer Pricing - An Indian Perspective by LexisNexis Butterworths, online Asia guide titled "India Transfer Pricing" by CCH Wolter Kluwers; and has co-authored two titles by the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation called "Transfer Pricing & Customs Valuation" and "Transfer Pricing & Business Restructuring". He also authored the India report for IFA 2007 Kyoto Congress on "Transfer Pricing and Intangibles". Mukesh has been involved with several transfer pricing and international tax dispute resolution in Indian tribunals and courts and dispute resolution via mutual agreement procedure under Indian tax treaties with United States, Japan, UK and Singapore besides other jurisdictions.
Mukesh is a commerce graduate from University of Mumbai, qualified as a meritorious chartered accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a Bachelor's degree in law. He is enrolled with the Bar Council as an advocate.
