Biography: Insolvency & Restructuring
Kevin Zych is a partner in the bankruptcy and restructuring practice group in Toronto. His practice focuses on private loan workouts and judicially supervised restructurings with an emphasis on cross-border restructuring.Kevin's recent public engagements include acting for bondholders in Nortel, Trident Exploration Corp, Ainsworth Lumber Co, Ltd, Stelco and Doman Industries; estate fiduciaries in Smurfit-Stone, AbitibiBowater, Quebecor World, Progressive Moulded Products and Dura Automotive; and debtors in Hollinger Canadian Publishing Holdings and Pillowtex Corporation.
Kevin received his BA (summa cum laude) in 1987 from McMaster University, and his LLB (magna cum laude) in 1990 from the University of Ottawa. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992.
