Biography: Management Labour and Employment

Regina Glaser was admitted to the German Bar in 1997 and has been a member ever since.

Regina Glaser advises German and foreign companies on all areas of individual and collective employment and labour law, in particular on questions of restructuring and reorganisation, outsourcing, collective bargaining and works council aspects, privatisations, personnel adjustment measures and also in context with mergers and acquisition on enterprises. Her areas of practice include employment contracts, pensions, co-determination, single dismissals and massive lay offs.

She has expertise in cross-border aspects, cross-border transfers of business and outsourcing and off-shoring, issues of compliance, assignment/relocation of employees, and transfer of employee data outside of the EU. She advises on and negotiates collective bargaining agreements and social plans. Furthermore she also advises executive employees, managing directors and members of the board of directors.

Since January 2005 she has been a partner and head of the employment group in the law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Düsseldorf. She was admitted to the German Higher Regional Court in July 2002.

Reginal Glaser is a member of the International Bar Association, Deutsch-Amerikanische Juristenvereinigung (German-American Lawyers' Association), and Deutscher Anwaltsverein (German Lawyers' Association).

In the IBA, Regina Glaser is currently an officer of the discrimination law committee. Regina Glaser is the author of a wide range of benchmark publications and regularly lectures at conferences at home and abroad. She speaks German and English fluently.
