Biography: Management Labour and Employment

Luca Failla is a founding partner of LABLAW - an award winning Italian boutique exclusively specialised in employment and labour law. LABLAW advises both national and international clients on a wide range of complex human resource management and industrial relations issues 24 hours a day - 365 days a year.

Luca focuses his practice on Italian labour and employment law, international litigation, employment contracts and dismissals, privacy, pension schemes, redundancy, trade union negotiations as well as company and commercial law.

He is recognised internationally as a leader in his field by leading legal directories such as Who's Who Legal, Chambers Europe, Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer?, Best of the Best, Best Lawyers, European Legal Experts, and Expert Guides.

Luca is a member of the Italian Employment Lawyers Association (AGI), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). In addition, he has been appointed as a board member of CONFINTERIM-Italian Confederation of Temporary Employment Agencies and of FORMATEMP-Italian National Fund for the Development of Temporary Employment. Luca Failla is also a member of the board of ASLA - the Association of Italian Law Firms.

Luca is often asked to speak at universities and conferences. He is currently a lecturer at the 'Employment Law Masters' courses organised by the Italian Association of Personnel Directors (AIDP) and the Association of Italian Employment Lawyers (AGI). He has been an assistant professor of employment law at the University of Milan since 1989.

Luca, who obtained his JD from the University of Milan in 1988, was admitted to the Italian Bar Association in 1993 and the Italian Supreme Court Bar Association in 2005.

He speaks English, French and Italian.
