Mr Stohner's practice covers all areas of labour and employment law and involves the representation of employers, both unionised and non-unionised, in many industrial settings, including the broadcasting, entertainment, advertising, financial services, telecommunications, steel, construction, transportation, pharmaceutical and hospitality industries. Before entering private practice, Mr Stohner served as an assistant US attorney in the civil division of the Washington, DC, US Attorney's Office, where he was responsible for defending the government in major lawsuits challenging personnel and labour/employment-related matters.
Mr Stohner is listed in The Best Lawyers in America (200710), the Guide to the World's Leading Labour & Employment Lawyers 2007 (Expert Guides), and he is recommended for labour and employee benefits in PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook 2008. He received his JD in 1971 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and his BA in 1968 from the College of William & Mary.
Mr Stohner is admitted to practice in California, New York, and the District of Columbia.
