Eden is a member of the securities committee of the Prospectors and Developers Association; the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum; the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and the American Bar Association section on environment, energy and resources. She served on the International Bar Association steering committee to host the bi-annual meeting of the IBA's section on energy, environment, natural resources and infrastructure law in Toronto in 2010. Eden is also a former chair of the natural resources & energy section of the Ontario Bar Association.
Eden has been recognised in Who's Who Legal annually since 2004, and has also been recognised by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the mining and electricity sectors.
Eden is a member of the bars of Ontario (1992) and Alberta (1985). She received her BA in political science (with highest honours) from Victoria College, University of Toronto in 1981, and her LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1984.
