Biography: Patents

Kay N Kasper is a partner of Reimann Osterrieth Köhler Haft, a law firm specialised in litigation, arbitration and counselling exclusively in the field of intellectual property, with an extensive litigation practice at all relevant national courts, the German and the European Patent Office as well as the European Court of Justice.

He acts primarily in national and multinational patent litigation and advises also in all matters related to intellectual property rights especially designs patents. He advises clients in many technical areas such as telecommunications, information technology, mechanics, automotive and medical devices, also in transactional matters. Moreover, Kay N Kasper has significant experience in negotiating licence and cooperation agreements and in coordinating with US and English patent litigation.

As of 2008 Kay N Kasper has been a visiting lecturer in patent law at the faculty of law of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, Frankfurt am Main and lecturer in technology markets and patent law for the Master-Programme of International Business and Tax Law at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He is an active member of AIPLA, AIPPI, GRUR, IPO, LES and VPP.
