Martin Köhler is specialised in patent litigation, especially planning and coordinating multi-jurisdictional patent litigation and the preparation of freedom-to-operate opinions. His non-contentious work includes advising on licence, research and development agreements as well as on employee invention matters.
He regularly litigates cases in the areas of electronics, mechanical and chemical engineering, automotive technology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Martin Köhler publishes regularly on intellectual property issues and is a speaker at conferences on patent law issues. He is a member of many professional organisations including AIPPI, AIPLA, APRAM, EPLA, GRUR, IPO, LES and VPP.
