Biography: Corporate Immigration

Ethan Kaufman is a partner resident in the New York office of the world's leading corporate immigration law firm, Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy. His practice is limited to immigration and nationality law. During his 20 years with the firm, Ethan has been lead engagement partner for major corporate clients and has overseen all aspects of employment-based immigration, including the full range of non-immigrant and immigrant visas, naturalisation and citizenship issues, compliance concerns, policy development and programme management. His clients have encompassed investors, emerging businesses, middle-market and Fortune 500 and 100 corporations across diverse industries including financial services, technology, consulting, professional services, biotech, fashion and design, consumer goods, sports, entertainment, health care and universities.

Ethan's experience also includes having founded and then managed the firm's office in Dallas for seven years. Early in his career, Ethan served as Law Clerk to the Honorable George P Kazen, US District Court, Southern District of Texas. Ethan has also served on the firm's national executive committee.

Ethan is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. He has edited and authored numerous articles on corporate immigration issues for publications including: Immigration and Nationality Law Handbook, Inside HR, Relocation Today, Texas Lawyer, Immigration Briefings, Corporate Counsel Newsletter, HR Matters and TechBiz.

Ethan is admitted to the Bar in New York, the District of Columbia (inactive), New Jersey and Texas. Ethan is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law (JD, 1987) and Rutgers University, BA.
