From 1994 to 1996, Mr Cohen served as a member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Prior to that presidential appointment, he had an in-depth executive and staff labour law background with the NLRB, as well as in private practice. He has a comprehensive background in collective bargaining issues in all facets of labour and employee relations, including litigation.
Mr Cohen speaks and lectures frequently before trade associations, business groups, and bar meetings. He has also testified on proposed union labour legislation before the United States House of Representatives and the Senate.
Mr Cohen is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, and is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
