She has acted in a range of industries including the financial services industry, the property industry, as well as the manufacturing, retail, telecommunications and pharmaceutical sectors.
Jocelyn's general practice experience includes offering advice in terms of the corporate leniency policy as well as on the running of various competition law compliance programmes for clients. Jocelyn has been involved in many local and international private equity transactions and has advised both acquirer and target in the antitrust elements of hostile take-over bids.
She has written articles for Without Prejudice and Business Law and Tax Review and is an editor of Butterworth's Competition Law Reports.
Jocelyn is recognised as a leading lawyer by the following reputable rating agencies and their publications: Global Competition Review 2010; PLC Which Lawyer? 2011 (competition - South Africa); The International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers 2011 (South Africa); and Best Lawyers South Africa 2011 (antitrust).
Jocelyn received her BA, LLB, and her Certificate in Competition Law from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
