John Cogan is a member of Cogan & Partners LLP, a law firm focused on assisting clients with international projects and business transactions, particularly in the energy sector. John is a 40-year veteran of structuring, negotiating and completing international matters. Among the many successes which John has been instrumental in bringing about are acquisitions and divestitures of major upstream and downstream oil and gas properties in Africa, East Asia, the former Soviet Union, Latin America, the Middle East, North America (including the Gulf of Mexico), the development of greenfield LNG projects in North and South America, the Middle East and East Asia, and the development of pipeline and power projects in Africa and Latin America.
