Biography: Management Labour and Employment

Fernando Yllanes Martinez is the managing director of the law firm Bufete Yllanes Ramos. For the last thirty years, throughout Bufete Yllanes Ramos and personally, he has been dedicated to represent and assess all kinds of labour and employment issues from enterprises belonging to all kind of industries, the Chambers they belong to as well as Employer's Federations and Confederations.

For these purposes, he provides preventive legal consultancy, and takes care of legal trials concerning individual and collective employment issues with the support of several specialists in all kinds of legal areas, particularly regarding social security.

The clients he serves belong to different industrial branches such as textile, rubber, radio and television, in which he directly checks the law-agreements that are applied to them.

Among the Enterprises' Associations he belongs to are: the Business Sector Council (CCE), the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of Mexico (CONCAMIN), the Textile Chamber, the National Chamber of the Radio and Television Industry, the Fishing Industry, Oil Distribution, Federation of Textile Industry Associations (FAITA), among other associations and employers' groups.

He has participated in several revisions of collective bargaining agreements from different industries such as textile (silk and all kind of synthetic and artificial fibres, knits, cotton, wool, ribbons and lace), radio and television, rubber and manufactured products, before the Labour and Social Security Ministry of Mexico. Furthermore, he is in charge of planning the strategies and negotiations in order to renew the collective bargaining agreements from the enterprises the law firm represents.
