Mr Laclé Zuñiga has participated in local and international transactions as securitisations, acquisitions of local companies, getting banking licenses, bidding processes in telecommunications, real estate transactions and other projects. He is also an active litigator participating in civil and commercial lawsuits as well as arbitrations.
He obtained a Masters from Georgetown University, USA with a specialisation in corporate law, international finance and business administration, and securities law. He also has a Masters degree in business law from the University of Costa Rica where he graduated with honours. On several occasions he has acted as a speaker and has vast experience in arbitration matters.
He is currently the president of the Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CICA). In 2006 he was nominated by Latin Lawyer Magazine as one of the 'Top lawyers under 40 years old of the Central American region' and by Chamber Global as one of the leading lawyers in Costa Rica. In 2006 - 2007 he acted as advisor to the president of Costa Rica.
