After working for several Ukrainian banks in late 1990s, Oleksandr joined the legal team of Arthur Andersen, and subsequently Ernst & Young, where he was elevated to the position of manager at EY Law, the legal division of Ernst & Young. In 2005 he joined DLA Piper in Ukraine and became partner in 2007. Since then he has significantly developed the Kiev-based practice, now comprising of 10 lawyers handling major projects, and is ranked in top tier for banking and finance by major international and local ratings agencies.
Recently, Oleksandr advised a group of international banks on their project financing for retail centre development in Ukraine. He also advised EBRD on project financing of several agricultural projects. Currently he is engaged in a number of renewable energy projects with participation of major IFIs and private equity funds.
Oleksandr graduated from the Lviv National University in 1996. He became a certified attorney at law in 2000.
