Mr Didkovskiy is a managing partner at Asters. Oleksiy focuses on M&A, corporate law, litigation and arbitration, project finance, securities, insurance, telecommunications and tax law. He advises major international investors in various industries from insurance and telecommunications to agribusiness on a wide range of corporate and securities issues. He has led major corporate acquisition projects, including multibillion-dollar corporate acquisitions in the Ukrainian telecommunications industry.

Mr Didkovskiy is known as a highly experienced professional in M&A for his involvement in a number of major acquisitions and project finance. Oleksiy's recent projects include advising: Telenor in connection with its US$23.8 billion transaction with Alfa Group of Russia involving the merger of assets between the Russian mobile telecom operator VimpelCom (Beeline brand) and the leading Ukrainian mobile telecom operator Kyivstar GSM in the newly formed VimpelCom Ltd listed on the New York Stock Exchange; ED&F Man on complex acquisition of major sugar production facilities in Ukraine; EDB on acquisition of Infopulse Ukraine LLC and Miratech Corporation LLC; Element Six (De Beers Group) on the acquisition of Poltava Diamond Plant; Russia Partners Investment Fund on the acquisition of a Ukrainian insurance company; VimpelCom on a US$2.2 billion eurobond issue by its subsidiary VimpelCom Holdings BV.

Mr Didkovskiy received his law degree from the Institute of International Relations of Kiev National University in 1996 and was admitted in Ukraine. He speaks English, Ukrainian and Russian.
