Mr Andrey Y Astapov is a managing partner and head of international arbitration and litigation practice at Astapov Lawyers International Law Group.Mr Astapov specialises in resolution of complex multi-jurisdictional disputes in the area of oil and gas, international trade and investment, maritime, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and antidumping law, etc. Andrey represents major national and international companies, financial institutions and governments in Ukrainian and international courts and arbitration forums, including the High Commercial Court of Ukraine, Supreme Court of Ukraine, International Commercial Arbitration Court at the CCI of Ukraine, International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation International, Supreme Arbitration (Commercial) Court of the Russian Federation, Court of Arbitration at ICC (Paris), GAFTA, FOSFA, LCIA, ICSID, etc.
Mr Astapov is also actively involved as arbitrator under the arbitration rules of various arbitration forums including Kazakh International Arbitration Court, LCIA, UNCITRAL.
Mr Astapov is a recommended arbitrator of the International Commercial Court under the European Arbitration Chamber, member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, EuroJuris International, Association of Independent European Lawyers, International Bar Association, Ukrainian Bar Association, European Business Association, GAFTA, FOSFA, American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine associated member of the American Bar Association.
