Mr Rosenberg has been involved on both the debtor and creditor sides in many recent major bankruptcies and restructurings. His official and unofficial committee representations include the General Motors, CIT, Quebecor, Nortek, Calpine Corporation and Armstrong World Industries chapter 11 cases. He also has represented bondholder groups in many recent out of court restructurings and exchanges, including GMAC, Equity Office Properties, Tyco and Rouse. On the debtor side, he has most recently served as debtor's counsel in the Spectrasite, Top-Flite Golf and Cone Mills chapter 11 cases. Mr Rosenberg also has represented numerous companies in the acquisition of chapter 11 debtors. These include, among others, Time Warner Telecom's acquisition of GST Telecom. Mr Rosenberg was named to The American Lawyer's list of 2010 "Dealmakers of the Year", for his work on behalf of CIT Group Inc, and was also recently chosen by his peers for The Best Lawyers in America in bankruptcy and creditor-rights law. Most recently, Mr Rosenberg was noted as "a superbly effective and practical practitioner" by Chambers USA 2011 for his bankruptcy/restructuring work.
Mr Rosenberg received his BA from Amherst College (cum laude, 1985) and his JD from Duke University School of Law (cum laude, 1991).
