Now dividing her time among clients in Paris, Hong Kong and Toronto, Louise has arbitrated dozens of international cases, both as party-appointed arbitrator and when named by an institution. Her firm, Aculex Transnational Inc provides support for larger cases or where special expertise is required. She also continues to act as a dispute resolver (arbitration and mediation) and as counsel in international cases involving sales, insurance, tort and large construction projects.
Louise acts as a discreet private consultant to law firms seeking specialised aribitration expertise. She writes and speaks extensively on international dispute resolution topics and comparative law. She also continues teaching, as a thesis supervisor and professional trainer, designing and delivering law and business courses for institutions and schools around the world.
Louise is the founder and co-president of ArbitralWomen (www.arbitralwomen.org) and of the Vis (East) Moot in Hong Kong (www.cisgmoot.org). She speaks English, French and Spanish.
