She worked for 14 years in a prestigious international law firm in São Paulo, having been elected a partner for the intellectual property and German desk areas on July 2007. Her international experience comprises working for Baker & McKenzie in Düsseldorf, Germany as an associate of the mergers and acquisitions team for a year during 2000. She now leads a law boutique, dedicated to tailor-made legal assistance. Ms Klempp is fluent in English, German and Portuguese.
Graduating in 1997 from the Law School of the University of São Paulo, Ms Klempp also obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cologne, Germany and a Doctorate (PhD) from the University of São Paulo.
Ms Klempp is a frequent lecturer, and has recently lectured in the postgraduate degree course on Immaterial Rights of the School for Postgraduate Studies of the Brazilian Bar Association (ESA OAB), in the Licensing Essentials Course of LES (Licensing Executives Society) and coordinated the advanced course on transfer of technology of ABAPI (Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents).
She has been coordinator in São Paulo of the technology transfer and franchising commission of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) and member of the board of the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association (ASPI).
She is associated professionally with LES - Licensing Executives' Society, DBJV - German Brazilian Lawyers' Association, VDI Association of Engineers in Germany and in Brazil and BVMW German Association of Medium-Sized Enterprises.
