Abel Amaro is an extremely experienced lawyer and his main areas of practice are tax law, customs and anti-dumping. He specialises in indirect taxes consulting and planning and also litigation.
He is the vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Tax Consultants; and an active member of the following institutions: Brazilian Bar Association, British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham), Japanese-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, International Bar Association (IBA) and International Fiscal Association (IFA). He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
