She was born in Rio de Janeiro, on 16 April 1963, and holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro, and an LLM in maritime law, marine insurance, carriage of goods by sea and international law of natural resource from London School of Economics.
Acting for shipyards, shipowners, charterers, insurers, P&I clubs and transportation agents, Camila has advised on many financing projects of construction, loans for building vessels and shipyards, private port recent projects in Brazil, corporate restructure and IPO.
She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and the Brazilian Maritime Law Association the latter of which she represented at the 2008 CMI Conference in Athens. She is also a member of the Ibero-American Institute, the American Chamber of Commerce, the French Chamber of Commerce, the German Chamber of Commerce and the board of the Norwegian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
She is the author of several articles on the maritime and O&G industries, published in specialised magazines and newspapers in Brazil and abroad. She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
