Biography: Insolvency & Restructuring

Daltro de Campos Borges Filho is one of the founding partners of Ferro, Castro Neves, Daltro & Gomide (FCDG), a law firm established in 2005, by a group of renowned and highly experienced professionals who shared the aspiration of offering their clients superior law services. With offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo – and correspondents in other Brazilian cities – FCDG endeavours to provide an exclusive service, particularly in commercial legal tasks such as drafting contracts and business planning, possessing vast experience in reorganisation issues.

Daltro was actively involved in the drafting of the Brazilian Reorganization and Bankruptcy Law, and acted in the biggest bankruptcy lawsuits of the country and in the first reorganisation proceeding.

In regard to his renowned expertise, Daltro represents debtors and creditors in reorganisation proceedings and litigation under the Bankruptcy and Reorganisation Law, advise domestic clients concerning creditors' and debtors' rights issues and assist clients in negotiations in solutions outside of formal insolvency proceedings.

Daltro was educated at Universidade do Rio de Janeiro (1978), is a member of the Brazilian Bar and is fluent in Portuguese and English.
