Aloysio Meirelles de Miranda Filho has been a partner at Ulhôa Canto, Rezende e Guerra - Advogados since 1989. He graduated from the State University of São Paulo Law School (1984). He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Mr Miranda represents major financial institutions, corporations and private equity funds in connection with the structuring and negotiations related to investments, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and other corporate and financial transactions, involving several industries such as infrastructure, telecommunications, real estate, beverage, agribusiness, oil and gas, energy, banking, retail, manufacturing and others. Mr Miranda is also involved in the restructuring of the most important Brazilian groups of companies, in connection with certain events, such as corporate reorganisations prior to IPOs, acquisitions or sales of the control of companies, succession planning and others both in Brazil and cross-border.
